With her own experiment about talking trees approaching, Katka is these days rushing mostly between the students and their projects, working on the experimental setting for Xue in greenhouse, finalizing some papers … and preparing for ERC audit.
Katka also joined “Global artificial microcosm project” which is run by Gustavo Romero and bit belatedly installed the containers. Her baby helps a lot to run the projects and writings up smoothly :-).
And hurray, a new paper has been accepted to PeerJ – about negative relationship between abundance and area of birds: Biomass, abundances, and abundance and geographical range size relationship of birds along a rainforest elevational gradient in Papua New Guinea – by Katerina Sam and Bonny Koane.
