The annual conference of Society for Tropical Ecology (formerly Gesellschaft für Tropenökologie e.V., gtö), which was suppose to be be organized by Katka Sam and Robert Tropek, was canceled this years. Instead, the society was meeting online, and invited Katka to make a public speech at the beginning of the meeting. The meeting was hold on zoom, then streamed to Facebook channel. It should appear soon on a YouTube channel too.
