As a part of our major project, we finalized this week also another experiment in which we focused on what is ths indirect effect of spiders and birds on the feeding behaviour of arthropods. Over last 6 weeks, we surveyd the behaviour of arthropdos on nettles in presence and absence of spiders and birds and their cues. How do the spiders and birds affect the plants and their communication witht he arthropods? And how do these interactions in the end affect the loss of biomass? These and other questions are part of the project which is run mostly by Jitka and Terka.
