Our PhD student Elise Sivault defended her PhD thesis on 4th of April. Her thesis “Roles of bats in top-down forces across elevations, strata, and latitudes” has been very well accepted. It was a busy time especially for Elise, who not only defended this month, but also submitted 2 postdoctoral grants and left to field work in Papua New Guinea just 10 days after her defense. We wish her good luck with her following project.

As the rule goes in our laboratory, Elise received a piece of art after the defence. This time, custom made piece by Papua New Guinean artist Arison Kul.
