Frantisek X. Pulkrabek joined our laboratory already in winter, as a new ant-specialist. His Bachelor thesis will focus on the diversity and feeding preferences of ants on South Bohemian peat-bogs.
Frantisek is really well (by well, I mean massively well) organised person, who loves his space 🙂 He enjoys Czech ants more than those from Papua New Guinea, as he realised after the first trip to there as a part of the course of tropical ecology in summer 2023.
In his free time he plays a guitar, and as far as we know now, he is super skilled handy man.
